Samsung Google Nexus S

Judging by the flood of information we recently saw on most of the tech blogs, call it the Samsung Nexus S day. The successor of the Nexus One, first Google phone, launched with great fanfare but dissapointing sales, gets a lot of attention and publicity from everyone.

According to the folks over at Engadget, the below leaked photo is supposedly showing the latest smartphone from Samsung, the Nexus S embrancing Google experience and shipping with Google's latest incarnation, Gingerbread.

The image shows a slim device with rounded edges, a front-facing camera and a Google logo imprinted on its back. It will carry the model number GT-i9020 (the unbranded Galaxy S is the GT-I9000), as the FCC label documentation for the i9020 lines up perfectly with this leaked picture. Note that nothing official was confirmed by Google or Samsung.

Best Buy also confirmed the existence of the Nexus S on its website. A screenshot of an internal product listing has been advertising a previously unseen Android device that matched with Nexus S profile. The documentindicates that the device could be go live in Best Buy stores starting on November 14.

What about the other specs for the device? Aside from what's has been speculated, as the Best Buy's leaked screenshot indicates, the Nexus S will sport a 5 MP camera with LED flash, 512MB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage, 802.11 b / g / n, T-Mobile's AWS 3G bands. It looks like it will be available on T-Mobile.

And to add more juicy rumors, the latest news give details about a flagship device that will launch early 2011 with image and full specs. Could this one be the Nexus S? According to Engadget, the Samsung's flagship Android phone might see the light next year, at MWC in February, to be more specific. Check out the rumored specs:
- 4.3 or 4.5-inch Super AMOLED (described as Super AMOLED 2)
- 8 MP with Auto-flocus and LED flash
- 1.2 GHz processor
- Android 2.3 (Gingerbread)
- 16GB of internal memory

Samsung i8520

Samsung i8520 is a super Android phones with AMOLED screen which is equipped with a Pico Projector. Samsung also said the i8520 or so-called Halo will work with Android OS 2.1, with its own user interface Samsung TouchWiz.
